What We Do vs. What We Don’t Do

Transparency is the foundation of our business. It is important to understand how our service works compared to traditional legal representation.

What We Do:

  • Draft Professional Paperwork: We prepare all Petitions, Service Waivers, and Final Judgments.

  • Pay Court Fees: We pay the mandatory filing fees to the Clerk of Court out of our flat fee.

  • Coordinate Service: We handle the logistics of getting the legal papers to the other party.

  • Track the Judge’s Signature: We monitor the court’s timeline and keep you updated until the decree is signed.

  • Provide Legal Information: We explain the requirements of Louisiana law so you can make informed decisions.

What We Don't Do:

  • Legal Representation: We do not represent you in court as your attorneys.

  • Legal Advocacy: We do not negotiate on your behalf or "fight" for your position against your spouse.

  • Legal Advice: We do not provide tailored guidance on how the law applies to your specific situation. We are providing information on court rules, legal statutes, and general information and procedures.

  • Mediation: We do not provide services to help you reach an agreement; you must have your agreement in place before we begin.

  • Contested Matters: We do not handle cases where the parties disagree on custody, property, or support.

Having managed large-scale technology projects, he ensures our back-end operations are seamless, allowing us to track and file your documents with a speed and precision that traditional firms often lack.

Louis Deville — Chief Compliance Officer (CCO)

Louis brings a deep academic and practical understanding of the law to our daily operations. He earned his Juris Doctorate from the LSU Paul M. Hebert Law Center, where he developed a rigorous foundation in the unique aspects of Louisiana’s Civil Law system. With an extensive background in legal research and support, Louis oversees the accuracy of every document we draft, ensuring that your filings meet the specific requirements of the courts in the parishes we serve.

Yazan "Yaz" Rantisi — Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Yaz is an experienced family law attorney who has dedicated his career to navigating the complexities of the Louisiana legal system.
